According to the electronic invoice data of the consumer channel, 8.11 billion electronic invoices will be issued nationwide in 2022, an increase of 1.37 billion or 20.3% over 2017, and the consumption of electronic invoices will reach 8.1 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.6 trillion yuan over 2017. The annual increase is 1.3 times, and the implementation effect is quite good.

Among the counties and cities, in 2022, Taipei City will issue 1.96 billion electronic invoices, accounting for 24.1% of the total. New Taipei City and Taichung City will separately issue 1.33 billion (16.4%) and 950 million (11.7%) The 2nd and 3rd place, the total number of six capitals is 6.36 billion, accounting for nearly 80%.

If compared with 2017, the increase is also concentrated in the municipalities directly under the Central Government, with a total increase of 1.15 billion in the six capitals in the past five years, and the highest increase of 36.7% in Beicheng.

If you look at the industry, the number of electronic invoices issued and the amount of consumption in 2022, the top 10 will cover roughly the same industry, all of which include retail, catering and wholesale industries directly related to people's livelihood; among them, the retail industry is facing a large number of consumers. , the number of issued tickets exceeded 5 billion (accounting for 62.7%), much higher than the second-ranked catering industry.

The consumption amount of the retail industry reached 2,838.3 billion yuan, which is the only industry with the consumption amount exceeding one trillion yuan, along with the wholesale industry.

However, the retail industry’s electronic invoice consumption accounted for only 9.6% of the industry’s sales, and the wholesale industry accounted for only 9.3%, which was lower than the overall average of 14.6%; the ratio was topped by the telecommunications industry at 92.6%, followed by the water supply industry at 87.8% , the electricity and gas supply industry ranked 7th with 55.4%, mainly because the government has actively promoted the introduction of non-physical electronic invoices by major telecom operators and public utilities since 2016.
