"Energy workers managed to keep the situation under control in critical, unprecedented conditions, which no power system of other countries has ever faced.

The daylight hours are already longer, solar power plants generate more electricity, there is no shortage of capacity," the head of the department noted.

According to Slobodyan, the pace of recovery of the power system is commensurate with the pace of new damage, despite the fact that the power system continues to be subjected to missile attacks by the aggressor.

Restoration work is ongoing at electrical facilities and networks.

"But, if we talk about full restoration, it will probably take more than one year," added the head of the State Energy Inspectorate.

It was previously reported that in mid-March, the Secretariat of the Energy Community organized a meeting in Kyiv to find ways to solve the problems of green energy in Ukraine, among which the main problem is the existing debt to the industry in the amount of UAH 17.8 billion.

Volodymyr Zelenskyi also stated that thanks to "green" generation, Ukraine will build a new and decentralized energy system that will not be afraid of missile attacks.
