The price of natural gas in Europe rose by 0.83 percent as of 9:50 a.m. Bulgarian time compared to the quotations at the close of the exchange last night.

This is shown by data from the London Stock Exchange ICE. 

April futures on the TTF (TTF) hub in the Netherlands traded at 44.55 euros per megawatt hour, or just under $480 per 1,000 cubic meters.

This morning the exchange opened at €44.75 per megawatt hour, closing late last night at €44.19 per megawatt hour.

The data show that since February 17, the price has remained at levels below 50 euros per megawatt hour, and since February 24, the blue fuel was also sold for around 45 euros per megawatt hour.

On Friday evening, the exchange ended trading at 52 euros per megawatt hour, but yesterday the price decreased.

Natural gas in Europe is cheaper by more than 4%

The natural gas of "Gas Hub Balkan" in the "Day Ahead" segment with a day of delivery for today became cheaper by 0.77 percent to 97.62 BGN per megawatt hour compared to its price with a day of delivery for yesterday of 98.38 BGN for megawatt hour.

On the Bulgarian gas exchange, the prices of the blue fuel have remained permanently below BGN 100 per megawatt hour in recent days.

At the end of last week, the price was briefly below BGN 90 per megawatt hour, but from Saturday it began to gradually rise again, reports BTA.
