Arusha REGION has led by opening 13 investment projects including generating 2,661 jobs in 4 regions of the Northern Region for the year 2021/22.

Speaking at a session on the Guide to Negotiations between the Public Sector and the Private Sector at the Regional and District Level that involved the stakeholders of the Regional Business Council, the Regional Head of Arusha, John Mongella emphasized that Arusha is a sensitive region in economic growth in the country.

He has said that the government has no restrictions on any investor who has met the criteria for obtaining permits for investing in Tanzania

He said that it is necessary to plan to bring development to the people, including promoting various commercial sectors, in order to develop the country's economy, as the region is leading in the tourism sector.

He emphasized that the session should be productive to ensure that they solve the challenges that exist as a region in various sectors, in order to enable the economy to grow including an increase in employment

And the Manager of the Tanzania Investment Center (TIC), Northern Region, Daud Stephano has said that Arusha is one of the regions that has done well in various investment projects for the Northern Region.

He said Arusha Region has led by having 13 projects out of 30 projects followed by Tanga Region 9, Manyara 5 and Kilimanjaro 3 projects.
