There was a great boom in the stock markets of the country today.

The Sensex closed at 59808, up nearly 899 points, while the Nifty closed at 17594, up 272 points.

The Sensex gained about 1.53 percent, while the Nifty saw a gain of 1.57 percent.

SBI, Bharti Airtel, Reliance, ITC, Tata Steel were among the top 5 stocks in the Sensex, which saw a jump, while Asian Paints, Nestle, Ultra Cement and Tech Mahindra closed in the red mark.

On the other hand, the shares of Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, SBI, Bharti Airtel, SBI Life showed a rise in the Nifty, while the shares of Tech Mahindra, Altri Cement, Cipla, Divislab, Nestle slipped slightly.

Let us tell you that amid positive trends in global stocks, major stock indices registered gains in early trade on Friday.

During this, the BSE Sensex had increased by 503.56 points to reach 59,412.91.

The NSE Nifty was up 157.15 points at 17,479.05.

State Bank of India, Power Grid, IndusInd Bank, NTPC, HCL Technologies, Bharti Airtel, ITC, Mahindra & Mahindra, Reliance Industries and HDFC Bank were among the major gainers in the Sensex.

At the same time, sluggishness was seen only in the stock of Asian Paints.
