The price of natural gas in Europe rose by 0.39 percent as of 10:48 Bulgarian time compared to quotes at the close of the exchange last night, but continues to trade below 50 euros per megawatt hour.

April futures on the TTF (TTF) hub in the Netherlands are trading at 46.85 euros per megawatt hour, or just under $500 per 1,000 cubic meters.

This morning the exchange opened at a price of 47.45 euros per megawatt hour, closing late last night at 46.66 euros per megawatt hour.

The data show that since February 17, the price has remained at levels around and below 50 euros per megawatt hour.

Natural gas in Europe rises more than 2%

The natural gas of "Gas Hub Balkan" in the "Day Ahead" segment with a delivery day for today became cheaper by 0.69 percent to BGN 101.87 per megawatt hour compared to its price with a delivery day for yesterday of BGN 102.58 for megawatt hour.

On the Bulgarian gas exchange, the prices of blue fuel have remained above BGN 100 per megawatt hour for the last 6-7 days.
