The price of natural gas in Europe decreased by 1.75 percent as of 9:36 a.m. Bulgarian time compared to the quotations at the close of the exchange last night, according to data from the London ICE exchange.

March futures on the TTF (TTF) hub in the Netherlands are trading at 49 euros per megawatt hour, or about $520 per 1,000 cubic meters.

This morning the exchange opened at a price of 50 euros per megawatt hour, while late yesterday it closed at 49.87 euros per megawatt hour.

The largest price peak so far on the leading European gas exchange was recorded on August 26, 2022 - 346.52 euros per megawatt hour or about 3,500 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters, BTA recalls. 

Natural gas in Europe rose in price by nearly 4%

Natural gas of "Gas Hub Balkan" in the "Day Ahead" segment with a day of delivery for today increased in price by 4.95 percent to BGN 103.97 per megawatt hour compared to its price with a day of delivery for yesterday of BGN 99.07 for megawatt hour.
