Europe's leading stock markets opened today's trading session on an upbeat note after Fed President Jerome Powell signaled last night that inflation is starting to ease and interest rates will no longer be raised aggressively, reports CBS.

In Frankfurt, the DAX rose 92.13 points, or 0.60 percent, to 15,413.01.

European stock markets closed the last session of the week mostly with gains

Paris' CAC 40 added 27.08 points, or 0.38 percent, to 7,159.43.

The pan-European Stoxx 600 registered an increase of 0.6 percent, with all bourses and sectors glowing green.
