[Financial Channel/Comprehensive Report] An unopened 2007 first-generation iPhone is about to be auctioned, with an estimated price of US$50,000 (approximately NT$1.5 million).
Originally priced at $599 (TWD 18,000), the first iPhone offered early Apple users a 3.5-inch screen and a 2-megapixel camera, along with 4GB and 8GB storage options, Internet capabilities and iTunes.
It has no app store, runs on 2G networks, and is exclusive to the AT&T network.

The unopened first-generation 8GB iPhone is owned by beauty tattoo artist Karen Green, according to her 2019 appearance on TV show The Doctor & The Diva, when one of the show's appraisers rated the phone's value. Estimated at $5,000.
Since then, another unopened first-generation iPhone, Green, has fetched more than $39,000 at auction at LCG Auctions, which listed Green's phone with an opening bid of $2,500.
