Our country is entering another cycle of elections.

Preparation for them began according to a schedule prepared by the CEC.

The campaign begins on the National Holiday, March 3, and the day for reflection falls on Joke's Day - April 1, BTV broadcasts.

Until February 15, parties and coalitions submit applications for participation in the elections.

Until February 20, the initiative committees, and until February 28, the parties register their lists of candidates with named composition.

On March 1, the numbers of the parties are drawn, on March 2 the sample ballot is approved.

Immediately after that, the campaign begins, from March 3 to March 31 inclusive.

In two calendar years, this will be the sixth election that our country will hold.

There are some challenges due to the amendment of the Electoral Code and the introduction of mixed voting.

The elections will cost us BGN 12 million, the CEC announced.

It is also clear what the amount will be used for.

"It envisages expenses not only for the Central Commission, but also for all other state bodies - the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the municipalities," Deputy Chairman of the CEC Rositsa Mateva said in the program "This Morning".

The voting paper has also been delivered, reassure the committee.

It will be the same as before, but with additional protection.

"By March 15, 10,000 rolls will be delivered, and by March 25 - another 10,000 rolls, so there will be paper."

We have chosen the design.

The defense is defined.

Everyone should be calm," said Rositsa Mateva.

The receipt that comes out of the machine will have different requisites than before and will now be called a machine voting ballot.

The CEC says there will be no changes during the voting itself.

For the first time for this election, there is another change - mandatory video surveillance.

It should cover all sections and be provided technically by the Council of Ministers.
