The Belarusian producer of chicken eggs "Firma AVS" informed its Russian counterparts about the suspension of deliveries, writes RTVI.

The decision is related to the lack of products and the need to ensure the domestic market in the first place.

Previously, Belarus had already introduced a ban on the export of eggs, chicken meat and dairy products for seven large companies, "ABC Company" was not among them.

The letter was sent to the Russian retailer "ABC Firm" on January 20, its authenticity was confirmed by one of the producers of eggs in Russia, as well as a representative of the grocery chain.

ABC Company itself did not provide any comments.

In October of last year, Belarus already introduced a ban on the export of table eggs, as well as chicken meat and dairy products.

At that time, the restrictions were applied to seven companies - "Servolux Agra", Vitebsk broiler poultry factory, "Druzhba" poultry factory, Baranovitskyi poultry factory, 1st Minsk poultry factory, as well as Ragachovsky and Lepelsky factories.
