Samsung will manufacture the expensive Galaxy S23 smartphone in India

Veteran smartphone company Samsung is going to start manufacturing its new S23 Series in India.

South Korean smartphone company Samsung has decided to manufacture its expensive Galaxy S23 smartphone in India to meet the needs of the local market.

The company has given this information on Thursday.

Currently, the Galaxy S series smartphones are manufactured at a factory in Vietnam and are imported by the company for sale in India.

Samsung said in a statement, "All Galaxy S23 smartphones sold in India will be manufactured at the company's Noida factory."

Samsung is already meeting most of the domestic demand in the country through local manufacturing at the Noida factory.

The decision to sell the Galaxy S23 smartphone made in India reflects the company's commitment to India's manufacturing and growth.

The company introduced three models of Galaxy S23 Series smartphones on 1 February i.e. Wednesday.

Which includes three variants Samsung Galaxy S23, Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. 

The starting price of Galaxy S23 series in India is between Rs 75,000 to Rs 1.55 lakh.

These phones are equipped with state-of-the-art camera sensors.

The price of the Galaxy S22 smartphone introduced last year was between Rs 72,999 to Rs 1,18,999.
