US gross domestic product rose more than expected in the fourth quarter of 2022 despite growing fears of a recession, CBS reported.  

According to data from the Ministry of Trade, as of today, the country's economy has grown by 2.9 percent on an annual basis.

Economists polled by "Dow Jones" had expected a value of 2.8 percent.
