[Financial Channel/Comprehensive Report] John R. Tyson, chief financial officer of Tyson Foods, was arrested by the US police in November 2022 on charges of alcoholism and illegal trespass in public places.

The latest reports indicate that Tyson has pleaded guilty to related charges.

The Wall Street Journal reported that on November 6, 2022, Tyson Jr. was found sleeping in the bed of a woman in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

It is understood that Tyson had a strong smell of alcohol at the time, and he was unable to answer the police's inquiries normally.

The woman revealed she believed the door was unlocked, giving Tyson the opportunity to break in.

According to the statement issued by the U.S. Attorney's Office and the District Court in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Tyson Jr. pleaded guilty to the above-mentioned charges and agreed to pay for the charges of public alcoholism and illegal trespass. A fine of US$150 (approximately NT$4,543), plus fees, Tyson Jr. paid a total of US$440 (approximately NT$13,000) on Tuesday (24th).

A lawyer representing Tyson declined to comment on the report, while Tyson Foods did not respond to a request for comment.

Tyson has repeatedly apologized for the incident and said it did not reflect his or Tyson Foods' values, the report said.
