[Financial Channel/Comprehensive Report] Foreign media reported that singer Justin Bieber has sold his music copyright to "Hipgnosis", an investment company under the Blackstone Group, for US$200 million (NT$6 billion).

Hipgnosis confirmed the above report on Tuesday (24th), saying that Justin Jr. has sold his music copyright to the company, but did not disclose the transaction amount.

But a person familiar with the matter said the deal was worth about $200 million.

Hipgnosis stated that after the completion of the transaction, the company will obtain the copyright of 290 songs released by Justin Jr. before December 31, 2021.
