The main thing that awaits citizens who receive housing subsidies — from next month, the subsidy will not be credited automatically, citizens will have to transfer money for the consumed utility services on their own.

Svitlana Antonyuk, the deputy head of the main office of the Pension Fund in the region, told about this.

How will the payment be made?

From February 1, the possibility of non-cash payment of benefits for the use of housing and communal services will be canceled

Money for housing subsidies will be transferred to the recipient's account, if such an account is opened in the bank.

If a person has not opened a bank account or provided information on where these payments should be transferred, the money will go to the Savings Bank.

In order to receive money, you will need to contact Oschadbank.

After that, open a personal account in this or another bank - for the further possibility of transferring money.

After that, the recipient must independently pay for the use of housing and communal services in the usual way.

Pensioners will continue to be able to receive a subsidy through a Ukrposhta branch on the day of pension payment.

Citizens of non-pension age can also receive a housing subsidy through a branch of Ukrposhta.

For this, they need to go there,

Svitlana Antoniuk explained.

Home delivery of this money, as it was before, is canceled for all but pensioners.
