Share Market Today: Today the Sensex opened at a level of 60,901.16 with a gain of 42 points.

The Indian stock market opened on a flat note on the last trading day of the week i.e. Friday.

Today, the major benchmark index based on 30 shares BSE Sensex opened at a level of 60,901.16 with a gain of 42 points amid mixed signals from the global markets.

At the same time, the trading started at the level of 18115 with a gain of about eight points in the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange ie NSE. 

However, after some time, selling dominated the market.

After which both the benchmark indices reached the red mark.

There was recovery in the market again at 10:30 am and it reached the green mark.

At 10:30, the Sensex is trading at 60,944 with a gain of 86.18 points i.e. 0.14% and the Nifty is trading at 18,126.05 with a gain of 18.20 i.e. 0.10%.

Today, the Capital Goods and PSU Bank index has gained 0.5 per cent, while the FMCG index has declined by 0.5 per cent.

Tata Motors, ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank, Power Grid Corp and SBI were major gainers today.

While HUL, Asian Paints, Sun Pharma, Britannia Industries and Nestle were reeling under losses.

Meanwhile, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) remained net buyers in the capital market.

According to exchange data, FIIs bought Indian equities worth Rs 399.98 crore on Thursday.
