Dollar vs Rupee Rate: In the last trading session, the rupee had closed at 81.36 per dollar.

Dollar vs Rupee Rate Today: The Indian Rupee rose by 21 paise to 81.15 against the US dollar in the interbank foreign exchange market on Friday, 20 December i.e. during the opening trade.

Forex traders said that the rupee has strengthened against the dollar in the foreign market.

Rupee vs Dollar in Interbank Foreign Exchange Market (Dollar vs Rupee Today)

In the interbank foreign exchange market, the rupee (Dollar vs Rupee Today) opened at a rate of 81.24 against the dollar.

But soon it strengthened its lead and reached the price of 81.15.

In this way, a strength of 21 paise has been recorded in the rupee as compared to the previous closing price.

Let us tell you that in the last trading session, the rupee had closed at 81.36 per dollar. 

Meanwhile, the Dollar Index, showing the strength or weakness of the US dollar against the six major currencies of the world, climbed 0.09 percent to 102.15.

International oil benchmark Brent crude futures rose 0.65 percent to $86.72 per barrel.

At the same time, Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) have made purchases in the capital market.

According to exchange data, FIIs made net purchases of Indian equities worth Rs 399.98 crore on Thursday.
