The group led by Asia's richest man Gautam Adani said in a statement that Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL) has started a pilot project to develop a hydrogen-powered truck for mining logistics and transportation. have agreed to do.

This agreement has been made with Ashok Leyland and Ballard Power.

The partnership will see the development of Asia's first hydrogen-powered mining truck.

The project will be led by Adani Enterprises while Canadian company Ballard Power will supply the hydrogen-powered engines.

Ashok Leyland, the world's leading manufacturer of commercial vehicles, will provide the platform and technical support for this truck.

Adani Group said that there is a plan to introduce this hydrogen-powered mining truck in India only in the year 2023.

Vinay Prakash, Director of AEL and Chief Executive Officer of Adani Natural Resources, said that this ambitious green hydrogen project is a strong determination towards India's future energy self-reliance.
