[Reporter Hong Youfang/Hsinchu Report] Pinjia, a subsidiary of the leading semiconductor distribution factory, Dalian University, held a board meeting today (17th) to acquire the group equity and related operating assets of VSELL, a distributor of electronic components, with NT$650 million in cash. In the future, it is planned to increase the cash capital of the company to enrich the working capital; after the investment is completed, the scale of the passive component business of the Great Lianda Group in the Greater China region will be even stronger.

The General Assembly stated that the main consideration of this transaction is to combine the management teams of both parties and enhance the overall industrial competitiveness. The product line has a more complementary effect and will expand the layout of passive components again.

VSELL was established in 1994. In 2022, the group's revenue exceeded NT$3 billion. The current number of employees is about 64. The group has long been committed to the passive component product access market and is good at design and development. The main business content is connectors/wire harnesses/tightening Agent for products such as firmware and electromagnetic shielding materials, the main sales area is in Greater China.

VSELL stated that after VSELL joins PINJA, combined with the management teams of both parties and capital injection, VSELL will be able to expand its business scale; PINJA’s passive component business will expand to the automotive connector business, and VSELL’s passive component production line will be more complete.
