The country's energy sector is a sector that most needs a long-term vision.

30 years in energy is not such a long period.

This was stated by Energy Minister Rosen Hristov

Rosen Hristov holds a master's degree in international economic relations from the University of California at a round table on the topic "Bulgarian Energy - Strategy 2023-2053".

According to him, the construction of one nuclear power takes at least 15 years.

"This is a strategy that we are deliberately not going into detail about," he added.

"The country's energy sector provides a huge part of the country's GDP and is the largest exporter," the minister also said.

"It is important to say that any regular government that comes in will have the same vision as what we are presenting to achieve these goals that have been set by the National Assembly to renegotiate the Recovery and Resilience Plan," he concluded he.
