Wall Street's main indexes edged lower at the start of today's session after results from major U.S. banks deepened worries about a slowdown in economic growth.

The decline in the price of the shares of the manufacturer of electric cars "Tesla" (Tesla) put pressure on the Nasdaq, reported Reuters.   

The Dow Jones industrial average fell 257.18 points, or 0.75 percent, to 33,932.79. 

Wall Street opened lower 

The broader Standard & Poor's 500 lost 22.57 points, or 0.57 percent, to 3,960.60, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index shed 94.74 points, or 0.86 percent, to 10,906.37. notes BTA.
