The decision was made on December 29 and published on the National Legal Internet Portal on January 13.

The fee was introduced back in June 2021, but from the beginning of 2023, the previous decision ceased to operate.

Now the deputies have determined the collection for the period until the beginning of 2025.

It will be necessary to pay it from February, when the decision takes effect.

In January, it will be possible to leave the Hrodna region to Poland and Lithuania for free.

The fee rate is still one base amount.

But now it is 37 rubles.

Payment is made for one vehicle that has at least four wheels and weighs up to five tons, regardless of the number of passengers.

The driver pays the fee.

Fees are not paid:

  • senior officials, members of the Parliament, the Council of Ministers, government delegations;

  • foreign politicians and officials who arrived in Belarus at the invitation of state bodies;

  • diplomats, employees of international organizations and intergovernmental educations and their families;

  • people who go to the funeral of close relatives;

  • attendants of the remains of the deceased;

  • participants of the BAV;

  • disabled persons of BAV, disabled persons of the 1st and 2nd groups, as well as their attendants;

  • participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant;

  • those who go for treatment in a sanatorium;

  • participants of sports, cultural, educational events.

The Hrodna Regional Council additionally exempted the following categories from paying the fee for leaving the country:

  • representatives of state bodies of Belarus who are traveling for official purposes;

  • foreigners and stateless persons who came to Belarus at the invitation of state bodies and state organizations;

  • Belarusians traveling abroad to receive medical assistance, and their accompanying persons - if there is a decision of the commission under the Ministry of Health on sending Belarusian citizens for treatment abroad;

  • those who accompany children who go to the sanatorium for treatment;

  • foreigners and stateless persons who travel on documents confirming the degree of difficulty and manifestation of difficulties in physical activity and participation of 75-100%;

  • foreigners who came to Belarus for the funeral of relatives and return home (as in other cases, a documentary confirmation is required);

  • those who are deported or expelled.

The day before, it became known about the introduction of such a fee in the Vitebsk region.
