It was approved that from February 1, Zeng Uehara, the eldest grandson of the founder of Merida Zeng Dinghuang and the only son of the chairman Zeng Songzhu, will take over as the general manager of Merida. Zeng Uehara has joined Merida since 2004. He started from the grassroots level and has complete experience in manufacturing, procurement, product development and marketing. He is familiar with the overall operation of the group and the bicycle industry.

In recent years, he has successfully led the comprehensive update of Merida's ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) computer system. For sustainable management and global environmental protection, he is now leading Merida to initiate the implementation of ESG (environmental protection, social responsibility, corporate governance) reform plan.
