"Bentley" (Bentley) is another manufacturer of luxury brands, which records record sales, DPA reported.

The British car company sold 15,174 luxury cars last year, a 4 percent increase compared to 2021. The increased sales are due to record demand in the US markets, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

Bentley, which was founded in 1919, is owned by the German automobile group Volkswagen.

"Our business has overcome significant challenges and demonstrated great resilience, which is why we have achieved record sales for the third consecutive year," said Bentley CEO Adrian Hallmark.

"These data confirm (facts - note ed.) that we are leading the sector (of luxury cars - note ed.) not only in terms of sales and market share, but also in terms of investments in technology to create electric cars, as well as achieving the goal of them emitting zero carbon emissions," Hallmark specified.
