Today, January 9, the cash dollar rate at "PrivatBank" decreased by 10 kopecks - to UAH 40.40 per dollar. The euro-hryvnia exchange rate did not change and is UAH 42.30/euro.

You can sell American currency in the bank at the exchange rate of UAH 39.90/dollar, euros at UAH 41.30/euro.

The dollar exchange rate for card payments in a bank is UAH 37.45, the euro is UAH 40.40.

It is worth noting that after the weekend, on Monday, January 9, the hryvnia exchange rate to the dollar weakened by 5 kopecks to UAH 40.80/dollar, while the hryvnia exchange rate against the euro weakened by 10 kopecks to UAH 42.80/euro.

The fixed exchange rate of the dollar, which was set by the NBU last summer, is 

UAH 36.57/dollar

. 

We will remind that in the budget for 2023 the average annual exchange rate of the dollar is fixed at the level of 42.2 hryvnias/dollar, and by the end of next year it will be 45.8 hryvnias per dollar.

At the same time, according to the forecast of the Focus Economics SL U consensus group, the optimal dollar exchange rate in 2023-2024 will be at the level of 40.20-40.40 hryvnias per dollar.

However, according to experts' forecasts, the exchange rate in Ukraine will depend on the events at the front.
