The paper windmill "Nezha's Trouble in the Dragon Palace" is adapted from a folk tale. According to folk belief, the third prince Nezha is a "naughty fairy", and his mission is to protect children from growing up safely and happily.

And "guarding children's smiles" is the mission of Paper Pinwheel for 30 years!

During the difficult period of the epidemic in 2022, Paper Pinwheel still worked hard to complete many performances, from campus youth anti-drugs, art trucks, public welfare performances, to commercial invitational performances. This year, a total of 217 performances were watched by 440,000 people.

On 1/14 (Sat) in 2023, the paper windmill will start at 7:00 pm with "Nezha's Trouble in the Dragon Palace" at the Liangting Art Plaza. Free and free seating, all families are welcome to come and watch.

Ren Jiancheng, director of the Paper Windmill Theater, said that "Nezha's Trouble in the Dragon Palace" is a brand-new creation of the troupe's 30th anniversary. The play cleverly combines traditional Taiwanese puppetry, Peking opera, martial arts, official figure, and Beiguan music. Combining animation and digital technology with traditional art for the first time, in order to move the theater experience outdoors, the stage set and actors' figures have been greatly adjusted, leading the audience to transcend time and space and enjoy the new style of traditional opera.
