Ukraine started the 2022/2023 heating season with gas reserves of 11.7 billion cubic meters.

If these stocks are low, Western partners will help with the purchase of additional volumes.

This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

"There are 11.7 billion cubic meters of gas in underground gas storages. There are 1.2 million tons of coal in warehouses. There is money and help from partners to additionally purchase the necessary resources," he clarified.

He also noted that the Ukrainian energy system is currently working stably, and repairs are ongoing.

"So far, we are successfully overcoming the challenges of winter," he added.
