On January 4, in Istanbul, a meeting between the Ambassador of Bulgaria to Turkey, Angel Cholakov, and the General Director of Pegasus Airlines, Mrs. Guliz Ozturk, took place in connection with the launching of the new Istanbul-Plovdiv-Istanbul (airport "Sabiha Gökchen"), the Embassy of Bulgaria in Turkey announced, BTA reports. 

The flight started on February 18 this year with a frequency of twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and will be operated with Boeing 737 and Airbus 320 aircraft with a capacity of 180 passengers.

Destination Plovdiv is now open for reservations on the airline's website www.flypgs.com, and a large-scale advertising campaign is currently being launched for tour operators and end users through the media, Pegasus Ailines' partners and social networks.
