For much of the global economy, 2023 will be a difficult year as the main drivers of global growth - the United States, Europe and China - experience a slowdown in activity, International Monetary Fund Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva said today.

Kristalina Ivanova Georgieva was born on August 13, 1953 in Sofia. She has a secondary education, quoted by BNR.

"The new year will be more difficult than the year we are leaving behind," Georgieva said on CBS's Sunday morning news program "Face the Nation."

"Why? Because the three major economies - the US, the EU and China - are slowing at the same time," she said.

Kristalina Georgieva is among the personalities that the media should follow with increased attention in 2023.
