[Reporter Lin Jinghua/Report from Taipei] International oil prices are rising. Although CNPC is still absorbing stable prices, domestic gasoline is expected to rise by 0.4 yuan next week. Monthly highs, while diesel forecasts will be cut by 0.2 yuan.

According to the price adjustment index 7D3B accumulated by CNPC until December 29, the weekly average price was 79.96 US dollars, an increase of 2.08 US dollars from 77.88 last week; the exchange rate of New Taiwan dollar to US dollar was 30.712, which was the same as last week.

According to the operation principle of CNPC's floating oil price adjustment mechanism, and without considering the lowest price and stabilization measures of Asian neighboring competitors, it is estimated that the retail price of gasoline will increase by 0.7 yuan next week, and that of diesel will increase by 0.7 yuan.

However, CNPC cooperates with policies to stabilize prices and absorbs them. It is estimated that gasoline will be raised by 0.4 yuan, and diesel will be lowered by 0.2 yuan.

According to the estimated adjustment range, 92 unleaded gasoline is 29.5 yuan per liter, 95 unleaded gasoline is 31 yuan per liter, 98 unleaded gasoline is 33 yuan per liter; as for super diesel, it is reduced to 27.7 yuan.

The actual adjusted amount will be officially announced by CNPC at 12 noon on Sunday.
