Located in the Sinban Special Economic Zone and next to Banqiao Station, Taipower's "Magic No. 1 Substation" is the first green energy-themed exhibition hall in Taiwan. Under the ground is a substation that acts as the heart of New Taipei City's electricity supply, with an annual supply of more than 600 million kilowatt-hours of electricity. .

The exhibition hall focuses on the physical interaction between energy and the gym. Since its opening in 2019, more than 130,000 people have visited the exhibition hall. Photovoltaic Storage and Electric Magic" special exhibition, and in response to New Taipei Christmas City's new costumes, the installation art "Urban Light Well" at the entrance is transformed into a large energy storage cabinet, and the public is welcome to visit the exhibition and take beautiful photos during the Christmas and New Year.

On the 22nd, Taipower held the 3rd anniversary celebration and the opening event of the special exhibition "Optical Storage Power Magic" at Dianhuan No. 1, inviting distinguished guests from all walks of life to witness the 3rd anniversary of the opening of the exhibition hall and the opening of the special exhibition.

Taipower stated that Taipower continues to work hard to ensure stable power supply and develop renewable energy. In order to strengthen the stability of the power grid and maximize the benefits of green energy, it actively promotes the mutual matching of energy storage construction and renewable energy.

The 3rd anniversary special exhibition of Dian Huan No. 1 Institute echoes the concept of "green energy + energy storage". The installation art "Urban Light Well" made of 215 stainless steel plates at the entrance of the exhibition hall is replaced with winter clothes, turning it into a colorful storage space. The image of the energy container, together with the interactive color-changing light ball symbolizing the sun, instantly becomes the punching point of the night beat.

Taipower pointed out that in 2020, Taipower will build a 150MW (150,000 kw) Tainan Yantian Photovoltaic Field in General and Qigu Districts of Tainan. Since its commissioning, it has generated nearly 500 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity and reduced carbon emissions by 250,000 tons. An energy storage system with a device capacity of 20MW (20,000 watts) will be built on the site to create the first solar-storage integrated field in Taiwan. In addition to stabilizing the power grid, it can also transfer solar photovoltaic energy during the day to light up at night, showing the future of the new energy era.

According to Taipower, for this exhibition, the Nanyan solar energy storage container is specially made into a 1:20 ultra-miniature simulation model, which is matched with the painting and painting of the container designed for the first time and designed with electric power and Tainan local elements. The complete copy is moved to the exhibition site. The public is invited to “unpack” and decipher the energy storage containers, and introduce various common rechargeable batteries ranging from energy storage containers to daily life, so that visitors can experience the application trend of green energy and technology.

The 3rd Anniversary Special Exhibition of Taipower Electric Magic No. 1 will be exhibited free of charge from the 22nd until February 28th (2023) (opening time 10:00-18:00, closed on Mondays and the first and second day of the first day of the new year), on-site In addition to large-scale colorful energy storage containers and ball-shaped interactive devices, tomorrow (23) the opening hours will be extended. At 7:00 p.m., the circus troupe "Tiger Troupe" that performed at the National Day Reception will be invited, as well as the well-known recycled musical instrument percussionist "Ba Mr. Qi", jointly brought a wonderful performance of juggling and percussion, and celebrated Christmas with the public.
