Taiwan Network Certification Company stated that in response to the digital identity verification service of the Financial Supervisory Commission, its TWID Identity Identification Center participated in the pilot case of the Life Insurance Association Claims Alliance Chain 2.0, providing policyholders with an "enhanced version of mobile identity recognition that takes into account both convenience and safety when applying for claims." "MID service, through the policyholder's mobile phone number, mobile network and ID card information, no need to insert a card in the whole process, complete digital identity verification, and complete the claim application in one stop.

The Life Insurance Association stated that starting from December 20 this year, people who pass online digital identity verification can combine electronic signatures to achieve paperless claim settlement services, and extend the service to hospitals, reducing the time and cost for people to travel to apply for insurance claims after discharge from the hospital.
