The IMF has approved a plan to aid Ukraine.

[Financial Channel/Comprehensive Report] In order to help maintain Ukraine's economic stability after Russia's invasion, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said today (20th) that it has approved a four-month financing plan for Ukraine.

"Reuters" reported that Gavin Gray, head of the IMF's Ukraine program, said that the IMF estimates that Ukraine will need external financing of 40 billion to 57 billion US dollars (about NT$1.2 trillion to 1.7 trillion) in 2023. Economist Gita Gopinath said that external Financial aid will help ease Ukraine's economic pressure as soon as possible, and will also help promote Ukraine's external financing.
