There is a very serious demand in the Bulgarian market, but also abroad for holiday offers.

The trends are determined by each customer according to the budget they have, that is, we could find offers with a very different price range, but the quality we will get will be according to the corresponding price.

This year we are paying more for holiday breaks than last year, an increase of between 10 and 15%, including both our resorts and overseas destinations.

The reason is mainly due to the increase in electricity prices and the energy crisis.

The most preferred winter resorts in our country are traditionally the ski and spa destinations: Bansko, Borovets, Pamporovo, Velingrad, Sapareva Banya, Hisarya, Sandanski.

People are already starting to think about their vacations in advance and generally by September it is good to have booked, another issue is that in the summer we may not yet know if and when we will vacation in the winter.

Anyway, this is the option to find a suitable place with a good price.

For guest houses in our country, places run out already in May, for longer trips, we have to book at least in July, and if we have chosen to vacation in a neighboring country for the Christmas holidays - until October.

Again, according to NSI data, 551,012 Bulgarians traveled abroad in December last year.

By about 14 percent, the price of New Year's Eve dinners in Ruse restaurants has increased compared to last year.

The industry claims that this is a minimal increase against the backdrop of high food, electricity and gas prices.

Despite the price hike, there are now restaurants where reservations are 100 percent.

Many of the restaurants also welcome guests from Romania.

In Varna, however, the managers of a hotel have decided, instead of inviting a famous musician with a high fee, to reduce the prices of the envelopes.

Something else we should also pay attention to when talking about holidays, bookings are the fake and misleading offers.

Experts advise to always keep a close eye on who and what we buy from, to be suspicious of the documents we receive when booking the trip.

If there is no contract on the part of the tour operator, for example, we must check in the register whether there is a license and whether this license is active, because precisely with this type of offers they can very easily lie to us.
