In an effort to promote instant, safe transactions and cashless payments in the country, NBC Bank has launched its new digital banking campaign called "Close the New Year with NBC Bank."

The campaign aims to promote the use of online digital channels for NBC Bank customers during the festive season.

The new payment revolution that takes place through visa (Visa) will ensure the safety of customers and greater ease of making payments.

Through this new campaign, NBC Bank customers who transact through NBC Kiganjani's digital alternatives, internet banking and through the NBC Debit card will have the opportunity to win cash prizes, mobile phones, televisions and more.

Speaking at the launch event of the campaign, the Acting Head of the Digital Services Division of NBC Bank, Ulrik Tobias, said the new campaign aims to ensure that customers can access their money safely and make transactions easily, increase the convenience of services and improve the experience for customers.

"We want to give our customers enough time for their families and loved ones this festive season by assuring them that they can do all banking transactions in the comfort of their homes.

"We understand that many will be on vacation and probably engage in many spending trips during this time.

NBC Bank has ensured that you can make transactions easily and efficiently from home while you have a chance to win prizes," said Ulrik.

He added that the campaign aims to reward users as they make more transactions, the more you win and receive campaign gifts such as mobile phones, televisions, 40 percent discount on various purchases, cash gifts and shopping vouchers.

"All customers who use our Visa bank cards, ATMs, NBC Mobile App, and NBC Kiganjani services will have equal chances to win these prizes.

All they have to do is make transactions.

There will be weekly draws, monthly draws, and instant prizes to be contested.

The campaign started on December 2 and will last until December 26, next year.

The bank has partnered with the Gambling Board of Tanzania (GBT) to ensure that all winnings are fair and transparent.
