[Financial Channel/Comprehensive Report] Adobe stated that this year's Thanksgiving online consumption reached a record US$5.29 billion (approximately NT$163.6 billion), an increase of 2.9% over the same period last year.

"Reuters" and "CNBC" reported that Adobe Analytics analyst Vivek Pandya said that such growth is usually driven by demand rather than inflation.

Online shopping has not been fueled by inflation like brick-and-mortar stores, since e-commerce is mostly made up of electronics, clothing, etc., and prices generally remain stable or slightly lower compared to groceries.

In addition, according to Adobe Analytics data, online shopping consumption on Black Friday is expected to reach US$9 billion (approximately NT$278.4 billion) to US$9.2 billion (approximately NT$284.6 billion), a slight increase of 1% over last year.

As of 6 pm US time on Friday, Adobe data showed that consumers had spent approximately US$7.28 billion (approximately NT$225.2 billion) on online structures.

"E-commerce demand remains strong, with Black Friday online sales set to surpass $9 billion for the first time as consumers discover the ease and convenience of shopping from home," Panya said.
