Natural gas in Europe became cheaper by 6.25 percent as of 11:00 a.m. Bulgarian time today, according to data from the London ICE exchange.

November futures on the TTF (TTF) hub in the Netherlands are trading at 133.13 euros per megawatt hour, or about $1,300 per 1,000 cubic meters.

This morning the exchange opened at 132.15 euros per megawatt hour

The exchange closed Friday night at a price of 141.99 euros per megawatt hour - about $1,380 per 1,000 cubic meters.

Natural gas in Europe became cheaper below 1,450 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters

Stock market data indicate that from September 28 until now, a trend of gradual decrease in the price of natural gas in Europe has been noticed.

The exchange then closed at a price of 223.06 euros per megawatt hour, or about $2,180 per 1,000 cubic meters.

Since then, the price has been falling almost constantly, with only a slight increase between October 4th and 6th.

The biggest price peak so far on the leading European gas exchange was reported on August 26 - 346.52 euros per megawatt hour or about 3500 dollars for 1000 cubic meters, BTA recalls.

On "Gas Hub Balkan" in the "day ahead" segment, there are no completed transactions for today.

However, it is noteworthy that the price of the blue fuel with a delivery day for Saturday, October 15, was selling 17.57 percent cheaper compared to its price the previous day.

Another 5.93 percent lower was the price of natural gas and with a delivery day for Sunday.
