The Fair said that the draft "White Paper on Digital Economy Competition Policy" will be proposed soon, and the policy direction will also be adjusted according to the trend of digital development.

The Economic Committee of the Legislative Yuan reviewed the budget of the Fair Society today. The Fair Society will allocate $347.61 million for next year, of which $4.3 million will be allocated for the "policy formulation and international exchange business" item.

Li Mei, chairman of the Fairness Council, responded that the Fairness Council will soon put forward a draft of the "White Paper on Digital Economic Competition Policy", and will also make adjustments to the entire digital development trend.

The Economic Committee finally approved that 10% of this budget item will be frozen, and will be unfrozen after the Fair will submit a written report.

The Fair has released the first draft of the "Digital Economy Competition Policy White Paper" in March this year, with more than 240 pages listing the self-preference of digital platform operators, data privacy and market competition, news media bargaining and other issues. However, many issues in the first draft did not propose specific amendments. The fair will continue to collect opinions from all walks of life, make corrections and adjustments, and then send it to the committee for deliberation and finalization.
