With a decline for the two main types of oil, stock market trading began this week.

This happens after sharp increases from last week and against the background of the upcoming reporting period of major companies after the end of the third quarter, BTA informs.

Brent, the benchmark for European markets, fell 1.02 cents to $96.90.

A barrel of U.S. light crude oil traded 97 cents lower than Friday's close at $91.85 a barrel.

On Friday, the Brent variety rose by 3.5 percent and the American variety by 4.7 percent.
