Natural gas in Europe became cheaper by 0.12 percent as of 11:00 Bulgarian time today, according to data from the London ICE exchange.

October futures on the TTF hub in the Netherlands traded at €203.51 per megawatt hour, or almost $2,000 per 1,000 cubic meters.

This morning the exchange opened at a price of 205.96 euros per megawatt hour.

The exchange closed yesterday at a price of 203.75 euros per megawatt hour.

The biggest price peak on the leading European gas exchange so far was recorded on August 26 - 346.52 euros per megawatt hour - about 3500 dollars per 1000 cubic meters, BTA recalls.

Natural gas in Europe rose more than 6% this morning

On the "Gas Hub Balkan" in the "day ahead" segment, natural gas with a day of delivery for today is 2.86 percent cheaper (359.24 BGN per megawatt hour) compared to the price with a day of delivery for yesterday (352.56 leva per megawatt hour).

In the "intraday" segment, no transactions have been executed yet.

The reference price for today is BGN 359.24 per megawatt hour.
