The GOVERNMENT has promised to develop, identify, promote and develop the innovations made by indigenous engineers for the sustainable development of the Nation.

Makame Mbarawa, said this while opening the 19th anniversary of the engineers' day in the country, where, among other things, he emphasized the importance of observing the law to empower the natives in the construction of projects, in order to benefit professionally, experience and economically.

"Engineers are the pillars, have expertise and focus in managing projects, so that they are good, cost-effective and completed on time," emphasized Prof.

Mbarawa has instructed the Engineers Registration Board (ERB), to take legal and urgent measures against engineering companies, institutions and unscrupulous engineers.

He said that the government will continue to implement many strategic projects in building the country's infrastructure and economy, so it is the responsibility of engineers to use this important opportunity to build their nation.
