Mahindra & Mahindra, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Wipro, HDFC, Infosys, Axis Bank, HCL Technologies and Power Grid fell in early trade in the Sensex, while IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, Sun Pharma and Asian Paints gained. was doing business in.

The US markets also closed with losses on Thursday. 


In the previous trading session, the 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 59,934.01, down 412.96 points or 0.68 per cent on Thursday.

Similarly, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange also closed at 17,877.40, down 126.35 points, or 0.7 percent.

Meanwhile, international oil standard Brent crude rose 0.18 percent to $ 91 a barrel.

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold shares worth a net Rs 1,270.68 crore on Thursday, according to provisional data from the stock market.
