Indian industrialist Gautam Adani has now become the second richest person in the world, leaving behind Amazon boss Jeff Bezos and Louis Finance's Bernard Arnault family.

Gautam Adani's net worth is US$ 154.7 billion in the Forbes real-time billionaire list.

Elon Musk still tops the list with a net worth of US$273.5 billion.

Last month too, Gautam Adani had overtaken Louis Fuitton's Bernard Arnault family to take third place, but at the time he was behind Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk.

Now Arnault is now third on the list with a net worth of USD 153.5 billion for the entire family, as his net worth declined by 3.08 per cent or USD 4.9 billion on Friday.

On the other hand, Jeff Bezos is now fourth on the list with a net worth of US$ 149.7 billion, whose net worth declined by US$ 2.3 billion on Friday.

Mukesh Ambani, the head of Reliance Industries Limited, is at the eighth position in this list with a net worth of US $ 92 billion.


Gautam Adani, the first generation of the family in his business, heads the Adani Group, which consists of seven publicly listed companies that operate in infrastructure, mining, power and other sectors.
