The Sensex climbed over 359 points in early trade on Tuesday amid foreign fund inflows and a positive global trend.

On the other hand, Nifty crossed the level of 18,000 mark.

The 30-share Sensex of BSE rose 359.49 points to 60,474.62 points in early trade.

28 out of 30 Sensex stocks were in profit.

This is the fourth consecutive trading session while the market is in profit.

Similarly, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange rose 111.35 points to reach 18,047.70 beyond the 18,000 mark.

Asian markets were among the gainers, including South Korea and Hong Kong.

On Monday, the US and European markets closed with gains.

On Monday, the Sensex closed at a three-week high of 60,115.13 with a gain of 321.99 points.

On the other hand, Nifty closed at 17,936.35 with a gain of 103 points.
