Natural gas in Europe rose in price by 1.70 percent as of 10:40 a.m. Bulgarian time, according to data from the London ICE exchange.

Currently, September futures on the TTF hub in the Netherlands are trading at €208.52 per megawatt hour, or over $2,140 per 1,000 cubic meters.

The exchange closed at a price of 206.11 euros per megawatt hour on Friday evening.

This morning at 9:00 a.m. Bulgarian time, trading started at 207 euros per megawatt hour.

Natural gas in Europe continues to sell for over $2,000 per 1,000 cubic meters

Since the end of July, the price of blue fuel has fluctuated around and above 2,000 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters.

On "Gas Hub Balkan" in the "day ahead" segment, natural gas with a day of delivery for today, August 15, is 1.42 percent more expensive (284.55 BGN per megawatt hour) compared to the price with a day of delivery for yesterday - BGN 280.56 per megawatt hour.

In the "intraday" segment, there are still no closed deals.

The reference price for today, August 15, is BGN 284.55 per megawatt hour.
