Natural gas in Europe rose in price by 1.99 percent as of 10:40 a.m. Bulgarian time, according to data from the London ICE exchange.

Currently, September futures on the TTF hub in the Netherlands are trading at €196.05 per megawatt hour, or over $2,020 per 1,000 cubic meters.

The exchange closed at a price of 192.19 euros per megawatt hour last night.

This morning at 9:00 a.m. Bulgarian time, trading started at 194 euros per megawatt hour.

Since the end of July, the price of blue fuel has fluctuated around $2,000 per 1,000 cubic meters.

The historical price maximum was recorded on July 27 - 205.77 euros per megawatt hour.

On "Gas Hub Balkan" in the "day ahead" segment, natural gas with a day of delivery for today, August 10, is 1.45 percent cheaper (275.80 BGN per megawatt hour) compared to the price with a day of delivery for yesterday - BGN 279.86 per megawatt hour.

In the "intraday" segment, there are still no closed deals.
