The price of gas in Europe in the course of today's auctions fell below 1,750 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters, according to data from the London exchange ICE.

The drop was also due in part to calls by Germany for Canada to send the repaired turbine to Nord Stream 1 before maintenance on the pipe begins on July 11.
