Electricity for business in our country tomorrow will be 18.88 percent cheaper than its price with a day of delivery for today.

At an average price of BGN 390.70 (excluding VAT) per megawatt hour, the electricity of the Bulgarian Independent Energy Exchange (IBEX) was traded, according to data from trading in the market segment "Day Ahead" after the closing of the exchange.

The deals are based on tomorrow's delivery date (June 18).

The energy exchange closed yesterday at an average price of BGN 481.61 per megawatt-hour.

The average price of peak energy (09: 00-20: 00) is BGN 331.80 per megawatt-hour.

The off-peak energy (01: 00-08: 00; 21: 00-24: 00) was traded at an average of BGN 449.60 per megawatt-hour.

The lowest price within today's session, with tomorrow's delivery day, is BGN 255 per megawatt-hour, reached for the period 13: 00-14: 00, and the highest is BGN 629.00 per megawatt-hour - for 20 : 00-21: 00 hours.

The IBEX data show that a total of 78,914.70 megawatt hours of electricity were sold.

In the market segment "Within the day" for today, June 17, the IBEX reports so far a total traded volume of 2483 megawatt hours.

At 14:05 the weighted average daily price is BGN 499.92 (excluding VAT) per megawatt-hour.
