Google has agreed to pay $ 118 million in damages to end a lawsuit in the United States, according to the DPA.

In 2017, a class action lawsuit was filed on behalf of former employees.

They claim that they were discriminated against by being employed in lower paid positions in the corporation compared to men who had the same professional qualifications as them.

The women also accuse Google of not promoting them or refusing to move them to other teams where they had better career opportunities.
